P&G and LeapFrog have teamed up together to bring you Hop, Skip, and Leap Back to School featuring Leap Band!
LeapFrog’s Leap Band is a light weight activity tracker for kids recommended ages 4 -7. My 8 yr old daughter fell in love with it. I walked in on her doing jumping jacks at 9:00 pm the other evening!
The Leap Band was designed to encourage physical activity through fun exercises and games. Each water-resistant Leap Band activity tracker can be customized with parental controls and more. It comes with a USB cable that connects easily to your computer making the settings download process simple.
Children can select up to 8 animated pets to customize with colors and names. Through activities and games kids earn jewels to redeem awards for themselves and their virtual pets. My daughter earned over 200 jewels in one day taking the Leap Band’s challenges. She has 3 pets to care for that play, dance, eat, sleep, and exercise.

- Keep a healthy snack drawer either in the kitchen or in the fridge. We enjoy seasonal fruit, peanut butter & apples, shelled peanuts, smoothies, and Skinny Girl Popcorn.
- Make a schedule. You may have to tweek it once or even three times. When school starts everyone knows life gets hectic. There is a short window of time between after school, homework, dinner, and bedtime. Allow time each day for exercise or outdoor play, even if it’s only 30 minutes!
My kids enjoy bike riding, walking or jogging, riding scooters, swimming, and playing kickball. If you don’t plan this important time it most likely won’t happen! Tip: When it gets cold outside try an interactive kids workout DVD such as Dance Fit Kids. It is a life saver during the winter months.
