March 10th is National Pack Your Lunch Day! Choose PlanetBox!

About PlanetBox:

We made PlanetBox out of non-toxic materials because we wanted a truly safe choice for our family and yours. Stainless steel works for foods – it’s safe, non-toxic, non-leaching, recyclable, and doesn’t pick up yucky food odors or stains like plastic does. And using a reusable lunchbox means creating a lot less trash – which lets us sleep easier knowing we are doing our part to help the planet for future generations.

A funny thing happens when you design a good lunchbox – it actually does some of the thinking for you and helps you create better, healthier lunches! Let your PlanetBox serve as a guide for packing a healthy lunch. Did you forget to include some veggies? The empty compartment will remind you. Concerned about overeating at lunch? Rest assured that won’t happen because PlanetBox’s compartments were designed to hold sensible portions.  And now your morning routine just got a little easier – who doesn’t need that!?

My Review:

I was so happy to receive this PlanetBox Rover in pink!  It’s perfect for packing my breakfast or lunch!  I have had many lunch sacks or boxes for work (and school) and the Rover is the most creative by far.  It allows me to bring my yogurt and toppings to put on it.  I can also add extra protein and fruit in the small sections.  I love that it has a pocket on the front and a water bottle holder built into the front also.  Of course, because it’s pink and has unicorn magnets, I love it even more!

The PlanetBox Rover is designed for those who prefer to sample a wide variety of foods with smaller serving sizes. The Rover holds nearly 4.5 cups of food, which happily satisfies many customers, including both adults and children. The Rover Complete Kit includes a Rover lunchbox, the Big and Little Dipper for wet messy foods, your choice of super fun magnets designs, as well as a Carry Bag made out of recycled polyester for easy transport available in a variety of vibrant colors and patterns.

We also received a Blue Launch PlanetBox for my son’s lunch.  My son is 12 and keeps changing his mind about what he wants to bring for lunch.  He will eat the same thing for months and then totally change his mind.  I love that this Rover has a cup for dips (every kid likes to dip) and it has a glass dish for everything from pasta salad, chili, finger foods and more.  He can heat up his main course in the microwave if he wants to.

The PlanetBox Launch is intended for those with bigger appetites who want larger serving sizes. The Launch holds 30% more than the Rover at nearly 6.5 cups of food, and is designed to hold a 3 course meal. The Launch Complete Kit includes a Tall Dipper for dips and sauces, a super fun magnet set of your choice, a glass Satellite Dish for reheating foods, as well as your a slim Sleeve for easy transport.

I love how creative these PlanetBoxes are.  They come with magnets to decorate your stainless steel tray.  You can even order customized magnets to make it completely yours!  Of course, my favorite feature is his lunch is packed completely green!  The boxes even come with a fork and spoon.  Each one comes with a reuseable cold pack to keep your foods fresh for hours.

If you want to keep your kids eating healthy and green- be sure to get your own PlanetBox!  You won’t be disappointed!
