Love Your Pet Day is held on 20th of February every year. No one knows the origin of the day, but celebrate it anyway because any excuse to spoil our pets is worth the effort. Molly at Miss Molly Says would tell you that she likes to be spoiled every day by her lady! I included several of Molly’s favorites in list below to help you treat your pet extra special.
My family’s go-to for our pets is to make our own treats. My kids like to roll out the dough and use our dog bone cookie cutters to make peanut butter treats. I must say, there are several pet treat recipes on the list below that we have never thought of. Beef & Cheese Dog Cookies from Laura Kelley’s Inklings and Home Work has a carrot and banana treat. Izzy, my tripod Am-staff, isn’t overly fond of fruits and veggies so I would never give carrot and banana a second thought when making treats for her. I’m going to have to try ALL of these to see which ones she likes best!
