Concave Cutting Board by Architec Housewares #Review #ChristmasMDR14

December 12, 2014 by Pam Maynard

review disclosure

Concave Cutting Board by Architec Housewares #Review #ChristmasMDR14 | Mom Does ReviewsThe holidays are here, and that means cooking. Lots of cooking, and I’m so glad I’ve got a new helper in the kitchen – the Architec Gripperwood concave cutting board. It’s great. When the weather gets cold outside, I love to make hearty dishes like pot roast. What I don’t love is cutting up the vegetables and the meat. Without fail, I get juice all over my counters. Every time. Not now. The concave design of this cutting board keeps all the juicy, messy stuff on the cutting board and off of my counters. Yay!

Architec Housewares is a great company specializing in kitchen accessories that make sense, like this awesome cutting board. Their products range from everything from measuring spoons to cutting boards to mats, and they’re all great.

This cutting board was everything I’ve ever wanted in a board and more. It’s concave design keeps the mess contained, and its rubber grippers on the underside keep it from sliding all over the place. That’s a plus for me, because I generally have to put a hand towel under cutting boards to keep them stationary. You might think that the concave design would make cutting difficult, but it was actually really easy. The angle allowed me to get more downward pressure, which made cutting a breeze.  After making a delicious pot roast in the slow cooker, it helped keep all those delicious juices on the cutting board.  I love that there was no mess at all to deal with.
