Pointers for a Positive #Party

October 18, 2014 by Pam Maynard

It’s All About Presentation
When you are serving food to others, you want it to come in a pretty package. Whether you are throwing a party, inviting friends for dinner, doing a catered affair, or welcoming patrons to your business on a daily basis, you know that appearances matter. From the napkins to the artfully arranged plates and the frozen yogurt spoons, everything needs to fall into place, ensuring you are putting your best foot forward. Put time and thought in your presentation to truly wow your guests every time.

First Impressions Matter
Think back on special occasions that have been a hit or your favorite restaurant. If it involves food in any way, what you eat will be the main attraction. However, how it is presented will also make people take notice. Consider the atmosphere, the music selection, and the table settings. You’ll find that those who are best at decorating will coordinate every detail, making sure all items complement each other. Everything will come together to create a welcoming sight that makes you want to sit down and stay a while.

Quality Counts
When you are serving others, things need to do more than look right. They should be made well and come from a supplier with a solid reputation. Choose wisely and all of your products, goods, and food will only enhance your occasion. With care, you will be able to make your vision a reality.

Consider Your Budget
You don’t have to spend a fortune to get promising results. Review your options as you choose supplies for your gathering. Compare prices. Think disposable when it will work best, saving you time spent on your cleanup efforts. The most important thing to remember is you need products that will stand up to the test when people gather to enjoy the food that you are going to share.

Give Them Something to Talk About
You’ll love it when everything comes together and so will your guests. Don’t forget to make service a top priority. Whether you are serving refreshments yourself or have hired others to ensure everyone is happy, leave everyone talking about their positive experience. Be attentive and responsive to the needs of your guests. When you are completely attuned to others, you’ll know exactly what they want. You’ll no you are a true success when no one walks away unhappy.
