It’s official! Today it begins! Yes, yes it is! My last three highchairs came from a curb alert. For some reason, they are always an afterthought for me. I’m not exactly sure why that is. As a result of my last few highchairs, I was beyond thrilled to receive the Graco Ready2Dine Highchair. So was my Sister-in-Law who graciously offered to use it for me until baby “J” arrives- you know, just to “help me out”. (I have a feeling I may have to sneak into her house in the middle of the night to get it back!)

My niece is just over one year old and still uses all of the five-point harness and highchair feature. It took her a little bit to get accustomed to the chair, since she had never used one before, but she is doing much better now and meals are becoming easier for my sister-in-law to manage.
We like that it is easy to clean and the colors are so darn cute. The polka-dots are perfect for a boy or a girl. With the overall appearance and pattern selection being very modern – not like those old boring highchairs!
The newness of the chair has made conversion difficult for us. When we converted the highchair to a booster for a trip to Grandma’s house we experienced some difficulty getting the tray to come along too. To be honest, the tray still baffles my sister-in-law after making several additional attempts to use it.
Our favorite feature is the reclining position of the chair. This allows for babies under the age of five months to use it. Another favorite is that it isn’t as bulky as highchairs tend to be. The legs aren’t as wide and thick. This allows for us to use it in very small spaces and really reminds me of a traditional wooden highchair.
The Graco Ready2Dine is a great concept for a highchair + booster. I am concerned about the useability of the tray. I can’t figure out what we are doing wrong when we convert the chair to a booster. I recommend you play with a display model before you purchase to see if you can figure it out better than we could.
