From now until August 6th at 9p est, an auction is going on to raise money to Help Addison Get to Dance at Disney! The auction will consist of the follow: PLUS A LOT more not listed yet.
As many of you know, LaDonna, from Mom Blog Society, lost her baby brother several years ago. He left behind his 11 year old daughter who is now a senior and an honor student. She has the opportunity to Dance in the Disney All American which is a big honor. However, her family must pay her way. Without her brother to help, they simply can’t afford it. We hope our friends and family will help her raise the funds to send her!
Here are some gracious thoughts from Addison herself:
Each year our dance team travels to dance camp for four long days! These days are by far the most stressful and tiring days of the year! We learn multiple dance in matters of hours and have to have them ready to perform the third night! We all strive for perfection so any free time we have we are constantly doing the dances. We run on little sleep and our emotions become very high! Each year our camp teachers hand out four ribbons individually to girls. The one ribbon every girl wants is that pink All-American! This ribbon is handed out personally to each girl and shows that they have leadership, technique, spirit, and showmanship. When I received mine I broke down crying because I was not only so honored but relieved because my hard work paid off! On top of that huge honor I get the amazing privilege to travel to Disney and be in the Christmas parade! Every girls dream! As this is my senior year my parents have so much to pay for and do! All the help and work you guys have already put in is amazing and I’m so thankful! I’m extremely thankful for an amazing aunt who loves me enough to set this up for me! Remember any donation helps!
