About SQUIGGLE® Selection Game – Ages 8 and Up
SQUIGGLE Selection is a hilarious NEW game where players create a picture that starts with a squiggly line. The judge for that round picks a card from the deck and gives it to the drawing that best suits that word. Here’s the twist . . . players create their picture before the card is picked! Each player gets a chance to convince the judge with a clever explanation why their picture best describes the word. The first player to earn 4 cards wins!
My Review:
Our family LOVES board games. We find that the sillier they are, the more fun they are for everyone! Even my hubby, who CLAIMS to dislike board games, loves this new SQUIGGLE game! It’s like pictionary for the creatively challenged. We play Pictionary on the Wii U and I have a lot of difficulty with the drawing pad. With SQUIGGLE, you start off with a random line and all the players have 1 minute to draw a “DOODLE.” THEN the “judge” picks a word from the pile . Use your imagination to make your Doodle fit the word. The judge picks the best Squiggly Doodle to “win” that card. How many ways can you make a crazy animal type creature fit a word like zipper?
The boys made fun of my drawings so I didn’t win the first round of the game. The player that has 4 cards first wins. My hubby won because (I’m pretty sure) he wanted to stay on Daddy’s good side. No, actually, my hubby has a very creative eye and can do some fine Doodling! He always wins at Pictionary too.
It was such a riot to see how we each could come up with a story to make our Doodle fit the word on the card. Some were very far-fetched and some were just down right crazy and we all laughed at how one could come up with that. This game is great fun for the young and the young-at-heart alike. I highly recommend this game for your next Family Game Night! You won’t be disappointed!
