Bialetti’s 5-quart Pasta Pot comes in an array of bright colors, including a classic Italian RED and features an innovative lock-on lid with a built-in strainer. It’s the ideal all-in-one pot to make that pasta dish that keeps them coming back for more. Additionally, its oval shape lends itself perfectly to making the perfect spaghetti noodles without breakage.
I must admit, I dread pulling out the colander when I am cooking pasta. Much of the time I attempt to strain the pasta directly from the pot, holding the cooked noodles with my cooking spoon. If I grab the wrong spoon, boiling water slides down the handle and into the palm of my hand. If I have a slip of the hand, all of my pasta lands in the sink. Neither makes for a pleasant dinner.
With a little help from Bialetti, I no longer have either of those problems to worry me. Their pasta pot is amazing! The lock-on lid with a built-in strainer makes straining the water from my noodles a flawless experience. No more burning my hand, no more dropping my meal in the sink. This pot is a must-have for anyone who enjoys pasta meals frequently.
The lid is perfectly designed. A ruffled edge allows for all of the excess water to be removed, while ensuring nothing escapes. Small holes in the top of the lid make pouring a quick and effortless experience. The interior of the lid is also non-stick making it, too, easy to cleanup.
The pot itself was also taken into consideration during the design process. This pot is slightly oval allowing an entire box of lasagna, or spaghetti, noodles to begin cooking with greater ease.
There is nothing about this pot that I dislike. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and constantly atop my stove!

I am sort-of an oven junkie. I enjoy baked goods and roasting in my oven very frequently. While using Bialetti’s Bakeware I have roasted mixed vegetables & acorn squash, baked several batches of muffins, cookies, cakes, my toddler’s vegetarian nuggets – so much food as been prepared using these pans!
I fully expected a difficult clean-up after roasting my acorn squash, however, all of the baked on excess wiped easily away.
I applauded the pans the most when I made muffins recently and completely forgot to prepare the pans with liners or oil. I expected a battle to remove them, and was shocked that they came out as easily as they would had I remembered to prepare the pan beforehand. I have never been so fortunate.
Moving beyond my amazement with their performance, I have to comment on how attractive the red and white pans are. They match almost everything I have in my collection. I have never known a non-stick pan to look so good!
