The Catty Stacks were a big hit with Ginger and Boris! The cats were all over them before I could even start assembly. Having the option to create a larger opening is ideal because we have some jumbo size cats. I only made larger openings on one side so that they could still feel secure in the box with the smaller openings on 3 sides. The big guys can squeeze into the smaller opening regardless. They are not too interested in the upper level boxes except to sit on top of it. It’s been fun for cats and humans to poke through the top of opening of the lower box and stick a hand (or paw) through to play with the cat inside the lower box.
There are so many places to drop a toy through. They love that sheltered feeling and I think the catty stacks provide that. It gives them some security and they can keep an eye on things.
Assembly was easy. It’s a cool system and the cardboard even looks good. The pistachio color matches our dining room.
