Walking around the business sphere , we find a number of examples of charity work that has been done for home improvement projects. One of the examples is of the charity work done by the employees of CBRE. The staff member managed to join seven hundred volunteers from around the city of Alexandria , who helped them in taking on home improvement, cleaning , repair and similar projects in the community. Doing charity work enlightened their feelings of assistance, as one of the member said “Helping these homeowners remain in their homes is important to strengthening our community and preserving affordable housing,” Another example is of Handyman Connection, which is a company that offers home improvement services. They made a partnership with Ronald McDonald House, and helped them in mending their broken walls and ceilings.
How Are Businesses Defining Charity?
Charity is actually the voluntary giving of help to the people who are unprivileged or in need of help. Just like the receivers of help , the volunteers of charity are also the people of the society. The volunteers either lend help , usually in form of money or help raise charity funds. However there are also organizations , that have been set up to help raise money for those in need. Charity work for home improvement refers to acts related to providing people facilities for better homes and providing them with things they cannot manage to afford. Charity work could be as minor as cleaning the rooms and mending the faults or as big as helping them extend the capacity of their homes by providing them with required funds. Sometimes greater improvements are made, such as adding new doors and windows to the homes being worked on.

Owning a business or being a part of the business sector does not mean that you are no longer part of the local community . The rights that the society and people belonging to the society have on you , remain the same . One major reason for businesses being involved in doing charity work is because it is an act of humanity and helps in strengthening the society. Businesses are sometimes considered to be far away from the concept of social betterment acts. However the people who work under the tag of Corporate America , should be reminded timely, that they belong to the society and so they have certain responsibilities towards it . Working for the people who need their help , helps evoking the spirit of humanity within them and giving them the feeling of peace and accomplishment . Thus people with positive minds and satisfied feelings would work much efficiently in their fields.
