Sara Lee Snack Cakes are a delicious collection of Individually Wrapped portioned and portable snacks that are baked fresh, to go. The introductory line of Sara Lee Crème Filled Snack Cakes includes Devil’s Food Crème Cakes, Golden Fudge Cakes, Chocolate Crème Cupcakes and Golden Crème Cakes. Each box contains eight individually wrapped cakes and has a suggested retail price of $3.99. The Variety Snack Cakes are soft and moist bakery favorites with a suggested retail price of $3.99 for six individually wrapped portioned and portable snacks. BBU plans to complement this initial selection with new line extensions in Fall 2013.

We’ve spent a lot of time developing our new line of Sara Lee Snack Cakes that builds on this heritage, but provides the convenience of portable snacking, perfectly portioned and individually wrapped. We’re very excited to add Sara Lee Snack Cakes to the mix.”
The new Snack Cakes are launching now in select markets across the U.S. including the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Pacific Northwest, South Central and Southern California. The delicious on-the-go treats are set to rollout nationally in August 2013, just in time for the back-to-school season.

Buttery Sunshine Mini cakes:
This little cakes are made with sunshine! They are light and fluffy, yet moist and fulfilling. They only have 180 calories per cake so you can snack without the guilt! I love the buttery taste. It’s like eating a light slice of pound cake. This was my favorite cake. It doesn’t need icing or cream filling. It’s perfect the way it is!!
Devil’s Food Cream Cakes:
We also go to try these heavenly chocolate snacks! The devil’s food cake is filled with cream and topped with chocolate coating. My son likes these the best. He makes a point of licking the package after. He says they are “good and tasty!” I think they would be better without the chocolate coating or if the chocolate coating was a darker chocolate. They also are only 180 calories.
