The Tastiest Looking Slime Ever! Courtesy of Slime Life
There’s something so fun and satisfying about playing with slime, its squishy, stretchy and full of surprises. What makes it even cooler is when slime is designed to look like real food. Its such a creative concept that adds a whole new layer of excitement! I especially love when we find something that we can all enjoy as a family and slime definitely brings out everyones playful side. The best part? When its not overly messy, so cleanup is easy. Thats why I’m so impressed with Slime Life, they’ve created an awesome collection of DIY food slime kits that are as fun to make as they are to play with.
My Thoughts:
We were beyond excited to dive into all the amazing slimes from SlimeLife. Honestly, we had never seen anything quite like this before, slime that looks just like real food! It’s such a fun and unique idea, and my kids loved being able to pick their favorites from the collection. That’s another thing I love about SlimeLife: they have such a wide variety of options, so everyone can find something they like. My kids ended up choosing the PB&J, grilled cheese, cheeseburger, ramen, s’mores, French fries, plus the icing round and jelly-filled donut DIY slime kits. Each one was so creative, realistic, and fun to play with, it felt like opening a box of treats we could actually squish, stretch, and enjoy together.
PB&J with Chips Slime
The PB&J kit was spot-on with its colors and textures the “grape jelly” slime was glossy and smooth, while the “peanut butter” had that thicker, creamy feel.
Pink Icing Round & Jelly Filled Donuts Slime
We loved decorating these, it came with rainbow sprinkles and powdered sugar. We even got to fill them with jelly. Squishing these was so fun!

Ramen Slime
The ramen kit was one of the most creative. We loved making the noodles and seeing them come to life, and how they stretched out like real ramen, and the little details made it super realistic.
Cheeseburger Slime
The cheeseburger kit came with all the layers from the bun to patty to pickles and onions, even the look of melted cheese in between. My kids and I thought it was hilarious and couldn’t stop stacking and squishing it. Such a satisfying texture!

French Fries Slime
The Fries were so cool to mix with the ketchup, this one had more of a harder texture, the ketchup was softer and mixing them both felt so cool.
Grilled Cheese Slime
The grilled cheese was so stretchy and gooey, just like pulling apart real melted cheese, which made it extra fun.
S’mores Slime
The s’mores kit was gooey perfection with “marshmallow” slime that stretched beautifully and “chocolate” slime that had a glossy finish
Overall, SlimeLife completely exceeded our expectations. The creativity, the textures, and the realistic food designs make these slimes such a fun experience for the whole family. I love that it’s something my kids and I can enjoy together, it sparks their imagination, keeps their hands busy, and best of all, it isn’t overly messy. With so many fun kits to choose from, there’s truly something for everyone.
As we head into back-to-school season, these kits feel like the perfect little extra to have on hand. They make a great after-school activity to help kids unwind, a fun way to take a break from homework, or even a unique gift idea for classmates and friends. SlimeLife has turned playtime into something creative, interactive, and so much fun, our family is hooked! Best part is that you can find all these DIY slimes at your local Walmart in store and online.
