Tic Tac Who?
Have you ever wondered where Tic Tac Toe came from? Tic Tac Toe has a super cool history. It’s been around for a really long time! People have found game boards just like ours scratched into surfaces in ancient Egypt, over 3,000 years ago! The Romans also played a similar game, using little pebbles to get three in a row.
So, while we call it “Tic Tac Toe” today (and in some places, “Noughts and Crosses”), the idea of marking a grid to get three in a line has been a fun way to pass the time for thousands of years. It just goes to show that some games are so good, they stick around forever!
