About Walk with Dada
The dadaism movement stood for breaking from the norm and defying the traditional. With our first sandal, we tried to do exactly that, and have created something new from something old.
At Walk with Dada, we’re redefining the sandal with the Dada Original, a minimalist, convertible design made for effortless style and all-day comfort. Rooted in versatility and timeless appeal, our utilitarian silhouette strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern.
“We wanted to design a sandal that we could walk around the city all day in, but also pack with us for a beach trip back home. About the Dada Original Sandal:
The Dada Original sandal features a cross-toe strap that encases the foot and a mid-strap with an elastic inner for comfort and additional support.
The natural variations and wrinkles in the full-grain nappa leather used for Walk with Dada sandals make each pair uniquely yours.
Founders Danielle and Courtney applied a slow and mindful approach guided by podiatric standards and created a sophisticated design for their sandals that focuses on comfort and quality. Walk with Dada sandals are built with Moroccan leather, a strong, breathable, and tear-resistant material. With 9 mm of recycled foam inside the footbed, these sandals provide additional support, comfort, and style. The midsole, made with EVA, provides cushioning and rebound, while also balancing weight for walking on different kinds of terrains. The branded rubber outsole is water resistant, preventing slipping and providing the sandals with a strong grip.
Walk with Dad Sandals come in 5 colors: Black, Sand, Aqua, Cocoa and Cactus.
One of the founders, Danielle, collaborated with her father, a podiatrist, to help design the sandals to support posture and alignment to promote overall long-term comfort and foot health.
Over time, the leather will expand and tighten based on how often you wear them, developing a distinct character that reflects your journey. These subtle marks and creases tell the story of the paths you’ve walked, making every Dada Original a one-of-a-kind companion.

The Dada Original can be worn two ways. The strap atop the foot can be moved, and you can wear it behind the ankle. Such versatility makes this shoe even more unique.
These sandals are available in sizes 6-11 and come in various colors including Black, Sand, Aqua, Cocoa, and Cactus. Because of the unique material, they tend to run a bit smaller than what your normal size might be. It is recommended you size up about ½ the size of your normal footwear to assure the appropriate fit and comfort.
