FAQs

  • Can I use different colors for the “carrot”? Absolutely! While orange is traditional for carrots, you could use other colors for a fun twist.
  • What can I use for the “green” tops? Green candy melts, green-colored frosting, or even thin strips of green fruit leather or gummy candies would work great.
  • How do I shape them into carrots? You can gently mold the Rice Krispies mixture with your hands while it’s still slightly warm. A triangle or cone shape works well for a carrot.
  • How do I keep them from sticking to my hands? Lightly dampen your hands with water or spray them with cooking spray before shaping the treats.
  • How long will these treats stay fresh? Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2-3 days.
