There’s Work to Be Done
Does your family love the Duttons as much as ours? Then your dad will love this book written by Adams Media. There’s Work to Be Done is full of words to live by, quoted directly from the hit series, Yellowstone. From the famous Rip line, “There’s work to be done”, to Beth saying, “You are the trailer park. I am the tornado”. This book has all the great quotes you don’t want to forget.
Favorite New Read
Because Simon & Schuster has so many options, I have a few more that Dad might enjoy. Does your dad do a lot of cooking? There is the I Love My Airfryer EASY Recipes Book. This recipe book contains 175 quick and easy recipes that you can make with easy to find ingredients.
If your dad isn’t into cooking, does he like the stock market? There are a few books in this series, but Stock Market 101 is for the novice trader. It’s an easy-to-understand book that explains the ins and outs of the stock market. It’s a really neat book if you’re wanting to learn how it all works.
How about gardening? I have a black thumb, there isn’t a plant alive at my house. However, I’ve seen a lot of people (my mom, for example) that can make dead plants come alive under their care. Dad might like a book on How to Grow Flowers in Small Spaces if he’s wanting to start his own garden. This is a modern guidebook that teaches reluctant green thumbs to brighten up their gardens with flowers.
Pickleball is the newest trend in amateur sports. Simon & Schuster has a Pickleball Match Tracker journal for those who are serious about the sport. This book explains the sport and gives you places to track games, successes, goals, and more.
Maybe your dad doesn’t want a book. Simon & Schuster has a fun card deck called Skip the Small Talk. This fun deck of cards helps build friendships, discuss important topics, and start interesting conversations with its suggestions.
My Thoughts
I will never say books are a bad gift. Books are my go-to for baby showers, weddings, and birthdays. Knowledge is key and if I can encourage someone to read a book and learn something, then I’m happy. Simon & Schuster has such a large variety of books to choose from, I feel like there is literally something for everyone.
