It’s not everyday I eat the Tortilla Chips that won the “Best Tortilla chip” award from SELF Magazine! It’s true- the Organic Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips won the award! I can see why. They are delightfully crunchy and just the right thickness for dipping. I brought them to my niece’s graduation party and they were a hit. They didn’t last 10 minutes! When I told everyone they were made from chia seeds as in “chia pets,” they all had to try them. My sister is trying to go organic and she knew about chia seeds and actually eats them on her salads. Everyone got a kick out of eating chia seeds from the famous Chia Pet head that no one ever wanted.
The salsa was also a huge hit. The chia seeds in the salsa give it a great flavor. The mild and medium were both terrific. Even my son liked the medium salsa and he usually won’t eat salsa because he doesn’t like the “chunks” in it. The tomatoes and onions were diced smaller in the Salba Salsa. The flavor was amazing, it actually tasted like tomatoes and veggies, not salts and preservatives.
