Finding out I was going to be a grandmother was exciting. A new little life to love and care for. However, there was the question of whether I should make a room in my home for her. The answer came very organically because she was born when her mom and dad still lived with me.
When they moved out, I still kept a room for her but needed to get a new crib. I’ve made do with an old one until recently. Now that my little grand is a toddler, I really started searching for either a toddler bed or a convertible bed that will last for years to come. That’s when I found Storkcraft.

When I was young and had my children, I didn’t really look at things like the style of the crib or worry if it would last through multiple kids. I made due with what I could get. Now that I’ve become a Mimi, I’ve decided that she only deserves the BEST I can find. I know that it’s not always realistic to give her everything, but I can try.
The Storkcraft Santorini Deluxe 5-in-1 Convertible Crib is absolutely beautiful. It’s a work of art. Its sleek design makes me pause each time I look at it. The best part is that it is not only a lovely crib but also has the ability to convert to a toddler bed and a full-size bed.
Since my little grand is a toddler, I immediately set it up as a toddler bed. However, the full crib is so pretty. It’s a white crib with driftwood legs. I love the two-tone.
Assembly
Using the included hardware, I easily assembled the bed by myself. With the step-by-step instructions and the labeled pieces, it didn’t take very long at all to put it together. The Santorini has four levels for mattress placement.
I made the crib into a toddler bed with the included guardrail, adding in the mattress from my older crib, some cute bedding, and an even cuter toddler. The result was a bed perfect for the little princess that she is.
My Thoughts
Preparing for a new baby is wonderful, especially furnishing a room for the little one. Storkcraft has beautiful furniture, not only cribs. They make so many pieces, it will be hard to choose which ones to buy. They also have really nice rockers and ottomans, changing tables, and dressers. The Santorini crib by Storkcraft is made well, beautifully designed, and will grow with your child.
