Wouldn’t you want the drink that wakes you up to be an American company? Good Citizen Coffee is a Nashville-based company that brings us amazing coffee and accessories.

Good Citizen is a Nashville-based coffee company and lifestyle brand committed to compassion, conservation, and really great coffee. Sustainability is a core piece of what makes us, us! We work directly with the farmers to give back to the land by planting trees, fruits, and vegetables that invite animals and insects to thrive in their natural habitats. Creating biodiverse soil for generations to come.
Good Citizen Coffee Co. started in Nashville, TN in 2018 – the core team came together quickly as a response to the blank space in the roasting industry in Middle Tennessee. From there, we built ourselves on transparency and quality coffee. Sourced from sustainable farms, we help keep specialty-grade coffee in your cup without sacrificing nutrient-dense farming lands. We believe in the big impact of seemingly small choices, like deciding which coffee to drink. While we’re not the first Nashville-based roastery out there, we’re proud to be one of the only ones centered around biodiverse farmers.
Chin Up Whole Bean Coffee
Chin Up is a balanced, medium roast coffee. It is good for any time of the day and is a balanced blend that has notes of dark chocolate and cherry. Chin Up is available in whole beans or ground coffee, coming from Latin America.
Some of the other blends available from Good Citizen is Hang Tough (chocolate and molasses notes), Easy Does It (lemon and toffee notes), and Up and At ‘Em (kiwi and dark chocolate notes). There are many more blends and roasts offered, depending on your personal tastes.
Accessories
Coffee drinkers know that there are so many ways to make your wake up beverage special. Good Citizen Coffee knows that and they have a beautiful selection of accessories.
There is the 12-ounce Double Walled Glass Mug, Demitasse Spoon Set, Travel Hand Grinder, and Simple Syrups. I love the variety of accessories that is available for coffee drinkers. They also have electric brothers, tea infusers and so much more.
My husband enjoys a plain cup of coffee with a little milk. My daughter is a whole other story. She likes it with flavors, cold or hot, foamy milk and she doesn’t shy away from trying all the new things.
Her favorite way to buy her coffee is whole beans. She likes to grind her beans right before she puts the coffee on to brew. Her boyfriend is a fan of taking a full thermos off to his job. He works on top of a mountain and they don’t have a coffee pot up there. Good Citizen Coffee has made their mornings more delicious.
My Thoughts
Since I’m not a coffee drinker, I have to rely on my family and their opinions. My daughter and her boyfriend are huge fans of Good Citizen Coffee. They love the freshness of the beans, the fun flavors of simple syrups, and the beautiful accessories by Good Citizen.
