VAVA 720P Video Baby Monitor

When my granddaughter was born, we bought a video baby monitor. I was amazed at how monitors had changed since my son was a baby. You could see the baby, talk to the baby, and hear the baby. I was ecstatic! But then came VAVA.

If I was amazed at the grainy video monitor I had, boy was I in for the shock of a lifetime. I was sent the VAVA 720P Video Baby Monitor and immediately I could tell the HUGE difference.

Set up

This monitor has the clearest picture I’ve ever seen on a video monitor. It’s like you’re right in the room with the baby. Let me back up, I got ahead of myself. I took the monitor out of the box which contained the camera, the remote display monitor, and the power cords.

Right away I noticed that the camera has a tilt function. Not only does the camera pan up and down, but it also pans side to side so you can see from any angle. Also, there is a small antenna on the back of the camera so it’s sure to connect with the wireless monitor.

Next, I plugged in both the monitor to charge and the camera. The camera is set up on a dresser next to my granddaughter’s crib. She has to have a bed at Mimi’s house. I was laying her down for a nap and decided to try it out. The panning feature is the best thing ever. No more going into the room, and waking the baby up, just to reposition the camera. How amazing is that?

Features

The handheld display is 5″ and high definition and comes in multiple colors. The picture is so clear. I absolutely love that. No more trying to make out what I’m looking at! The monitor works plugged in or wireless. There is no need to stay connected to the wall.

You can talk to the baby through the monitor. The talk feature is so cool. If your husband is in the nursery hanging a mirror, you can watch him, tell him it’s crooked, and he can respond lovingly, “Yes, Dear.”

VAVA Baby Night Light

Another great item from VAVA is the Baby Night Light. Made from toy-grade materials, this fun, egg-shaped light is dimmable, has a touch control (you can change the color of the light by tapping it on the top), and has a soft glow.

With eight different color options, a rechargeable battery, and a one-hour timer, this nightlight is lightweight, portable, and easy to use. Of course, my grandbaby loves to tote it around because it’s colorful and just her size.

My Thoughts

VAVA products have proven to be nothing short of amazing. There aren’t many products that really surprise me, but the picture on the baby monitor is so clear, it amazed me. The night light is so fun. My grandbaby stays with me quite a bit and it’s nice to have this soft light in her room so she doesn’t get scared. Either one of these products will make a great baby shower or holiday gift for new parents.
