Fresh is a name that comes up repeatedly when we search for face serums that really work, so we thought it was high time we found out if their serums work the way all the reviewers say they do. For Fresh, it all started with a dream. The brand’s founders — Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg — saw a need for a range of beauty products that worked but also gave the user a feeling of luxury and indulgence. The Tests
Now, we know that some of these products come with a price tag that might make you think twice before purchasing. Let us put your minds at ease by telling you that with Fresh products, from our experience, you get your money’s worth. Not only do these serums go a long way (a couple of drops is usually all you need in a day), but — just like everyone told us — they do work. It took us a while since there were several products in our haul, but when we saw the results, it was obvious we’d struck gold.
The first thing to remember is that you’re looking for two kinds of results: short-term, which you can see immediately, and long-term, which takes a while to manifest and is usually longer-lasting. All of the serums we tried out provided both kinds of results in varying degrees. These serums are also very easy to use, even if you aren’t a skincare master, and simple to integrate into an existing routine.
The Tea Exilir Skin Resilience Activating Serum
If you’re looking for an anti-aging product that feels great, smells delicious, slides onto your skin easily, and helps to minimize the visible signs of aging, this is the serum for you. We applied this to our face and neck daily for eight weeks and found the following. The fine lines, particularly around the mouth and eye area, were far less noticeable. Problematic pores looked less obvious, and our skin looked much more fresh and smooth.
The Rose Deep Hydration Oil Infused Serum
This two-phase (shake to amalgamate and activate) serum is excellent for getting your glow back and works wonders on stressed-out, dry skin. Thanks to the squalane in the serum and all of the rose products, the serum’s moisture stays in your skin, unlike other serums that just fake moisturize so the skin looks better for a short time.
The Lotus AHA Gentle Resurfacing Serum
This was the only overnight serum we tried. Applying products before sleep lets them work while you’re at rest, really getting into your skin and doing their job. The potent ingredients in the lotus resurfacing serum get to work on smoothing out skin texture (for a fresh-faced glow) without drying. We saw a fresher-looking face and supple skin — this was our favorite of the lot!
Crème Ancienne White Truffle Eye and Face Serums
Last but certainly not least, we tried the Crème Ancienne White Truffle Eye and Face Serums. Since these are the serums with the highest price tag, we were the most curious to see these results.
First, the eye serum. Since the skin around the eye is so sensitive, it’s often one of the first places you can see fine lines; it certainly was for us! We wanted a brightening effect and less obvious crow’s feet, and that’s what we got — without question. Use this serum sparingly and tap a few drops around your eye, morning and night. We used the ceramic eye sculpting tool with this product and loved the effect.
The face serum worked just as well, and we tried it out for a whole month. We saw the most pronounced results in the brightness department: our skin never looked so wide awake! We also noticed a more “sculpted” looking jaw area.
The Verdict
The Fresh products we tried gave us a lot of bang for our buck. We believe the hype because we’ve seen the results! Any of these products would make a great addition to your skincare routine, so maybe start with the one that best suits your budget.
