I’ve discovered that when your kids grow up, you still don’t get an empty nest because they will fill their nests and come to visit. My granddaughter is about 17 months old and has discovered walking, running, and grabbing everything is fun. Playmobil has helped me out a little by having a fun toddler toy line called 1.2.3 & Disney. Mickey Mouse and Pooh Bear characters are nostalgic for me and fun for her.

Playmobil has released the cutest Disney playsets, Winnie the Pooh and Mickey and Friends. Each set has its own figurines and fun activities that your baby can explore. I’m going to tell you a little about each one.

Winnie’s & Tigger’s Bee Garden

Tigger and Pooh Bear have their own flower and bee garden, complete with honey pots for the bees. Tigger’s Cave has a fun slide, pretty flowers, and honey pots with dippers. Inserting the bee sticks into the pots promotes fine motor skills. My grandbaby loves to put them in just to watch them jump out! When you press them down in the honey pot, a spring-like reaction happens, allowing the sticks to jump! At Winnie’s and Tigger’s Bee Garden, your baby can also plant flowers! The flowers come in two pieces that can be inserted in the correct places.

Winnie’s & Piglet’s Tree House

Winnie’s & Piglet’s Tree House is the ultimate fun house! There is a swing, flowers, a merry-go-round, a shape sorter, and more. The table, chairs, and honey pot can be sorted on the top of the tree, Each shape is represented and sorted by colors. This helps your baby learn shapes and colors. Sorting also helps with fine motor skills. The shapes slide down the tree trunk and out to the ground. Pooh Bear and Piglet can go inside Pooh’s treehouse to sleep or play. Your baby will learn role-playing skills with Pooh and Piglet with this fun playset.

Winnie’s Counter Balance Honey Pot

Winnie the Pooh loves honey. Winnie’s Counter Balance Honey Pot comes with a Pooh Bear figurine and a weighted honey pot. Your baby can put Pooh in his honey pot standing up, play with him outside of the pot, or as my granddaughter likes to do, put him sitting in the top of the pot. Because the bottom is weighted, no matter how hard your baby pushes him inside the pot, he doesn’t fall over.

Mickey’s and Minnie’s Cloud Ride

Who doesn’t love a good train ride? Minnie and Mickey have their own fun airport ride complete with a plane, cloud, and weather snaps. On one side of the snaps are the numbers 1, 2, and 3. The other side has a rain cloud, sunshine, and a rainbow. Using the snap-lock connectors, your baby can play for hours with Mickey’s and Minnie’s Cloud Ride, driving them all over your house. I also love that they are dressed in flight attendant outfits.

Get ready for your baby to hang out with Micky and Minnie at their cloud home. Mickey’s and Minnie’s Cloud Home features a fun cloud slide with a hideaway underneath. There are fun cloud rider cars that let your baby slide them up and down all day. Also included is a fun rainbow archway. The top of the rainbow can be a rattle or a seesaw as well.

All littles like to make noise. There is no doubt about that. With Mickey’s Spinning Sun your baby can play with Mickey, shake the sun to make noise and they can scoot Mickey around like he’s on a ride at the amusement park. Mickey stands up and sits down, making him more fun to play with.

My Thoughts

It’s been a while since I haven’t been able to play with little toys like Playmobil’s 1.2.3 & Disney line. I really love the nostalgic characters, the sensory play with the rattles, and the educational benefits that each of these sets brings to little ones. Watching my granddaughter discover what each toy does and seeing how fast she is learning makes my heart happy. In my opinion, Playmobil Disney toys are not only beneficial to those who play with them, they are fun too!
