Spring Has Sprung- Time for Scotts Florida Select Mulch!

May 5, 2013 by Pam Maynard

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you want your yard to look like that?  Keep reading for some planting secrets!

Have you started getting ready for the spring planting season yet??  I know up here in NH, we are ready to go.  No more frosts in sight!  Finally!  I have a secret weapon I want to share with you: Scotts Florida Select Natural Eucalyptus Mulch!  What type of  gardening supplies do you need? I  always gather spades, soil, fertilizer, plants or seeds, water and then  mulch.   But did you know that Scotts Florida Select Mulch is a great way to practice sustainable gardening?

The Eucalyptus mulch is SUSTAINABLE as it regrows 4 times faster than cypress!  It is NATURAL as it is grown from 100% Eucalyptus trees and is free from any other forest debris. It is EFFECTIVE as it prevents weeds naturally and retains moisture in the soil. And it is LOCAL- it is 100% Florida grown!

Is

Scotts Nature Scapes mulch comes in 3 different colors- classic black, Sierra red and Deep Forest Brown!  They are all nautral forest products- no waste wood!  They come in a variety of textures.  I know many of my readers don't live in Florida, but you can still use Scotts Mulch to maintain moisture, help cut down on the weed growth and make your gardens look fabulous all season!

Remember, don't use Scotts Nature Scapes Mulch on gardens before seeds have germinated, around young transplants and seedlings  and not within several inches of the house foundation or other wood structures  This Sierra Red is my favorite.   photo ScreenShot2013-04-04at13630PM_zps587e6b17.png

It comes in black and Deep Forest as well.Scotts Nature Scapes Advanced Classic Black photo ScreenShot2013-04-04at13618PM_zps99d72d69.png

Are you inspired to get out and get growing??  I know I am ready!  Just need my handy side kick- my son- to help me design our flower bed.  Happy Planting!
