Sansi’s UV products have long been the gold standard in lighting. Founded in 1993, SANSI has been dedicated to the high-quality, reliable, innovative technology in LED lighting. I was given the opportunity to review two of Sansi’s most popular products, the LED UV Sterilizer Box and the 5W LED Black Light Bulb. Both products exemplify Sansi’s commitment to the standards that were set 30 years ago. All of Sansi’s lighting products also offer high efficiency that can save up to 90% electricity over traditional incandescent bulbs. Both products that I reviewed utilize LED technology.
After making our way through the pandemic, the ability to sterilize household items in an easy, clean and efficient way is top of mind for most people. I was excited to try out the Sansi Sterilizer Box and see if it is what I was looking for!
Sansi LED UV Sterilizer Box
When I opened the box from Sansi, I was immediately impressed by the slick, sleek design of the LED UV Sterilizer Box. It is all white with a white leather carrying handle, making it portable, and it only has one button to operate. It plugs into a regular two-prong plug outlet so it is essentially plug-and-play! Just plug it in and start sanitizing everything.
How it Works
The Sansi LED UV Sterilizer Box produces ultraviolet light with a wavelength between 260-280nm. Its photon energy can destroy the molecular structure of the DNA/RNA of microbial cells to kill the germs and bacteria on household objects. This box can help to protect your family from E Coli and Staphylococcus, among many other viruses and bacteria. It boasts a 99.9% sterilization rate.
The Sansi UV LED Sterilizer Box utilizes 360° UVC chips to sanitize anything in only five minutes. The UVC LED chips are built-in the stainless steel interior so you can get that 360° disinfection because the stainless steel is highly reflective. Bacteria do not stand a chance against UVC LED chips!
The interior of the box has a stainless steel tool rack and a food-grade inner liner, so you can put anything that needs sterilization into it. My first time trying the box, I put in our toothbrushes and my phone. I felt so good knowing that these things would now be safe and clean to use. The Sansi Sterilizer Box can be used to sanitize baby products, office supplies, tableware, makeup tools, and phones. It is so versatile and useful for every household item because it has a large 5.1L interior space. As a result, it can fit a large number of items, like up to six baby bottles!
Some other features of this amazing product is that it creates no noise whatsoever, so you can use it in a baby’s room or anywhere around the house. It also is super easy to clean; just wipe and go. The other common type of disinfection boxes use steam so they can rust and sometimes leaves a chemical odor; the Sansi Box does not. The Sansi Sterilizer Box has a child-safe design. The box shuts off automatically when opened so there is no risk of harmful UV exposure. It also has an auto-off timer when the sterilization is completed.

Sansi 5W LED Black Light Bulb
They also sent me a 2-pack of their 5 W LED Black Light bulbs. I have always seen black lights at parties or concerts but I have never really had one at my house. They are so much fun, but they also offer some sterilization properties, but not nearly as effective as regular UV light bulbs. Black lights emit a type of ultraviolet radiation called UVA, which is invisible to the human eye. They are often used in industry, nightclubs or amusement parks to make things glow. This glow is the energy emitted by the light being converted into visible light by particles called phosphors. These particles are found in certain objects, including your teeth and fingernails, which is why they glow under blue light.
The Sansi UV LED Black Light Bulbs are safe for the eyes and human skin. They are ideal for illuminating most reactive pigments, paints and dyes with black light, like neon-colored objects. The black lights are also great for body paint and other visible fluorescent materials. That is why you will see them used at parties and nightclubs. These light bulbs use Sansi’s patented ceramic heat dissipation technology so this LED bulb ensures excellent heat dissipation and long-lasting performance. It is both durable and reliable. and gives 25,000 hours of long-life, high power efficiency.
Sansi’s black light bulbs utilize Sansi’s patented Chip on Ceramic (COC) technology and hollow design, which aid in its long lifespan and luminosity. These bulbs are not waterproof, so they are for indoor use only and they do not work with a dimmer.
My Thoughts
Sansi’s UV products were fun to review. I was really looking forward to receiving and reviewing these products. As I mentioned previously, after Covid-19, sanitizing and sterilizing have been on my mind more than ever. I have tried other products for sanitizing my phone in particular, but I never found them to be easy to use or effective. The Sansi LED UV Sterilizer Box has been both easy and effective, so I have been using it much more often. Especially now that it is winter and we are inside more often, I am glad to have this product that will help to keep my whole family healthy.
The Sansi black light bulbs will be fun for our next party! I am excited to bring out the 80’s neon clothing and have a fun black light dance party!
