There is no special mold needed for these beautiful lavender-scented soap bars!

Purple and white melt-and-pour soap base is layered and swirled in silicone cupcake liners. Then, they are topped with dried lavender buds to create these gorgeous one-of-a-kind bars.

They are so easy to make for yourself and would make wonderful gifts for family and friends.

DIY Lavender Swirl Soap Bars Recipe

DIY Lavender Swirl Soap Bars

Makes 6 bars

Supplies needed:

Lavender Swirl Soap Bars supplies needed

¾ lb melt and pour soap base
Lavender essential oil
½ tsp lavender mica powder
1 tbsp dried lavender buds
2 – 4 cup microwave-safe measuring cups with spout
2 wooden craft sticks for stirring
6 silicone cupcake liners

How to make these fabulous Lavender Swirl Soap Bars:

1. Set the cupcake liners out on a flat surface.

2. Cut the soap base into 1-inch cubes, and divide between the two measuring cups.

3. Place both measuring cups in the microwave, and heat on high in 30-second intervals, stirring between each heating session, until the soap base is fully melted.

4. Add 15 drops of lavender essential oil to each of the measuring cups, and stir well.

5. Add the mica powder to one of the measuring cups, and stir until the color is solid.

6. Pour a small amount of one of the colors into each cupcake liner, not completely filling the bottom.

7. Repeat this step with the other color.

8. Continue alternating pours between the two colors until you have used up all of the soap base.

9. Allow the bars to set for 2-3 hours, then unmold.

NOTES: If the soap base starts to get thick while pouring, heat in 10-second intervals to liquify it again.
