I’ve discovered something. As we get older and our children leave home, we still have this love and warmth to share that really has no where to go. Sure we still love our babies, but I feel like we supplement animals for our kids when they grow up. What are pets really? They are just babies with fur (or no fur – we don’t discriminate). Archie and Alfred is a company that makes wonderful doggie gear that knows how to treat our fur babies right.

Named after Stevens’ two lovable pooches, Archie & Alfred has a Core Collection: The Everyday Dog Walking Collection. This collection includes collars, harnesses and leashes that are not only aesthetically pleasing, they are practical in more ways than one.

Everyday Dog Harness

I’ve seen lots of articles stating that harnesses are not good for dogs. I really don’t believe that. Used correctly, I believe that dogs and dog owners can only benefit from them. It seems to me like they would be easier to gain control of a pup that is strong and by using a harness, dogs won’t be choked when they pull against a leash.

Archie & Alfred’s Everyday Dog Harness comes in a very pretty light green called Macha. It’s adjustable and lined with an extremely soft neoprene fabric for your puppy’s comfort. Rings on the harness makes it easy for you to attach a leash and as a bonus, there is a treat pouch on the front so you can reward your good boy.

Everyday Dog Collar

Constructed with the same materials as the harness, the Everyday Dog Collar is made to be gentle on your fur baby’s skin. It’s reinforced with nylon throughout for strength and comfort. The collar also has a D-Ring for leash attachment and a buckle attachment makes sure your dogs collar stays the size you select.

Everyday Dog Leash

Every leash is made differently but I really love the one made by Archie & Alfred. Made with the same materials as before, The Everyday Dog Leash has a grip loop for extra support. To explain the feel of the leash, collar and harness, I want to call it soft, but it’s more than that. It’s smooth, padded, and comfortable for not only our dogs, but it’s also comfortable for me. Some leashes are harsh and not comfortable to hold on to, but that’s not the case here.

As a fun bonus, this leash has a detachable waste bag holder. With this leash, I don’t have to tie a bag to my leash and I don’t have to have a bag holder attached to my keys. I love that after the bag holder is attached, it doesn’t flop around and make noise. It adds to the seamless design.

Dog Multivitamin

Archie & Alfred also carries a multivitamin for your dogs. All-Natural and easy to use, the Dog Multivitamin assures that our dogs will get the extra nutrients that they may not get from their food. If your dog is like my dog, you have to be careful about any and everything they eat. By adding this vitamin to my pup’s food everyday makes both myself and my dog feel better.

My Thoughts

My dog is so funny. She’s a fat beagle that has the best personality. Dany loves to walk, sniff and eat. The wonderful products from Archie & Alfred really has made walking her and taking her out so much easier. She’s a strong dog and it’s not always been easy to take her places.

My one caution is that when you order your puppy the Everyday Collection you make sure to check out the size guide. Every company is different and you’ll want to make sure to get the right fit so that you can let your fur friends be comfortable as soon as possible.
