Have you ever had a partner of yours ask you for help then going shopping? We’re not talking groceries here, we’re talking style, fashion. You don’t have to be a fashionista to be able to point out what would look nice on your partner, so taking your partner shopping and helping them to make the right choices would be a wonderful thing to do.
Making a good impression on those around you starts with what you’re wearing. Even your partner will need to know that – especially if they’re going to things like business dinners, and drinks with friends.
As long as you have the power to control what you’re wearing, you have the power to control the impression that others have of you. Whether you are helping them shop for Knickerbocker clothing or you go for a completely different brand, you should think about what would help them when they are shopping for themselves. They do not necessarily need a wardrobe packed with all the latest trends, but it really does help.
Let’s take a look at how to help your partner revamp their wardrobe!
Add some color
Your partner definitely does not need a wardrobe patch is black, grey, blue, or green. They more than that and pops of color all the way through will help the wardrobe to stand out in the best possible way Go with them through their clothing and find which ones they have that are actually colorful and which are not, and then make a list of things so they could be adding to the wardrobe that do have a lot more color such as ties and socks.
Declutter the wardrobe
How many items of clothing do they have that they haven’t worn for at least six months? This is one of the best ways to declutter the wardrobe space, because it allows them to focus on what they really need to get rid of versus what they’ve only just bought.
Instead of wearing the same for items on repeat, do a switcheroo of the wardrobe clothing options. The stuff that is stuck at the back, bring it to the front – let’s see how different they look in some other items that they’ve had stored for a while. If it doesn’t fit it goes into the bin!
Make a list
Make a list of every single item and the color of every item that appears in the wardrobe. Then mix and match some of those items in to find out how many outfits they have altogether. Once you have this figure, you can make a shopping list of what is needed when you take them to go and buy some new clothes.
Help them to choose their uniform
There’s going to always be a working uniform that happens in the workplace that is usually smart and nice for work. But there should also be the standard clothes that they wear outside of work. Most people tend to stick to a range of jeans and T-shirt combinations, but you can help them to reinvent that look if that’s what they’re looking for.
