Sweet Valentine’s Fortune Cookie Ingredients:
- 1 cup (120 g) Flour
- ¾ cup (150 g) Sugar
- ½ cup (115 g) Butter (melted)
- 3 egg whites
- Red food coloring
Sweet Valentine’s Fortune Cookie Recipe Directions:
Beat the egg whites with sugar until it gets fluffy.
Then add the melted butter into the mixture.
Add the flour and continue to whisk (It won’t be too thick)
Divide the mixture into 3 and add red or pink color, until you reached to your desired color.
Take one spoon of the batter on a baking tray and spread it in a thin round layer with the back of the spoon.
If you wish, you can draw hearts on it with food coloring gel and put it in the oven at 180 degrees for 6 minutes. (Cook 3 one at a time)
As soon as it comes out of the oven, turn it upside down with a spatula, add the message inside.
Then combine it from both ends, and shape it by pressing the rim of a glass. (It must be hot, if is not it won’t get in a shape)
Place your cookies in a muffin tin to cool so they keep their shape.
