Valentine’s Day is coming up and that means it’s time to get creative with gifts! Instead of giving your loved one the same old flowers or chocolates, why not try making some delicious OREO truffles?
Valentine’s OREO Truffles Ingredients:
- 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 36 chocolate sandwich cookies, like OREO
- 12 oz light pink candy melts
- Valentine’s nonpareils
Valentine’s OREO Truffles Directions:
Crush the cookies into crumbs, using a bag and meat tenderizer, or a food processor.
Add cream cheese and crushed cookies to a bowl.
Beat with an electric mixer until completely combined.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and form the mixture into one inch balls.
Then set the Truffles on a baking sheet. (be sure you have a spot cleared in the freezer)
Freeze for 10 minutes.
Melt candy over a double boiler.
Line another baking sheet with parchment paper.
Remove balls from the freezer and dip into melted candy. Set on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and immediately top with sprinkles.
