My Thoughts
Every year when winter rolls around, two things are almost always guaranteed for my house. I am going to be cold almost all of the time and we will have guests coming in and out of our home constantly. Now I can’t change the weather, nor are we moving any time soon to a warmer climate. And I love having guests and visitors any time of the year but especially during the holiday season! But I don’t always know how to decorate beyond the usual winter and holiday-themed items that we always put up. So in an effort to address both of these issues, I am going to stay warm and on-trend with The Comfy and Decocrated.
Staying Warm
Staying warm should be easy, right? Simply layer up, and then pile on or pull off as you get more or less cold. I get it. But who wants to wear all those bulky layers of clothes? Even at home, I can easily look like the marshmallow man, with sweats and long johns along with sweatshirts and sweaters! It’s difficult to move easily and forget about leaving the house dressed that way. Wrapping up in my favorite blanket is an easy solution, but not very practical when I need to be up and moving around.
And it’s frowned upon in public for some reason.
