Mom’s Thoughts
I have known the bad effects of blue light, and that is why you are not supposed to watch tv and stuff right before bed. Personally, I am super sensitive to lights and things. I cannot fall asleep watching TV, but will get tired if I am reading. I am also prone to migraines. This light is very soothing, and easy to use. It is dimmable and you can also set it to a normal white light. You charge it, and then can unplug it, and move it where ever you need it. There is even a phone charger on it.
My daughter is the primary user of our Allay Desk Light because she does her school work in her room often. She likes the light, and uses it on green at night when she studies. That way she can go to sleep, soothed and ready for the next day. I hope the daily use will keep her from getting the migraines that seem to be hereditary. Right around 18 I began getting them, and my 20 year old son has been getting them a couple years. They get to the point that cat scans get involved. My hope is that daily use of this awesome Allay light can spare her of that, and also provide her with a good nights sleep. I may have to send one up to my son and see if it helps him with his headaches and with is insomnia too.
