I’m pretty sure my pups would never eat these ingredients by themselves, but this combination is one they can’t resist. They love anything in ice form, so that helps!
Is spinach good for dogs?
The AKC says: Spinach contains large amounts of vitamins A, B, C, and K. It also contains iron, antioxidants, beta-carotene, and roughage, which stimulate the digestive tract. Presumably, you feed your dog a healthy, nutritious dog food that contains everything he needs, but small amounts of spinach can provide benefits.

Ingredients needed for The Dog Treats:
- 1 Banana
- 1 golden delicious apple
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup parsley
- 1 cup water
Add these ingredients to make a smoothie for you:
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 6 ice cubes
Items Needed to make these healthy treats:
- Food processor
- Molds- Dog Paw and Bone shaped
- Cutting board and knife
- Liquid measuring cup or squeeze bottle
- Cookie sheet
Directions to Make the Fun, Frozen Treats:
Step 1: Cut banana into sections, apples into chunks and cut parsley leaves off the stems.
Step 4: Add spinach to food processor and blend.
Step 5: Add parsley to food processor and blend.
Step 6: Add apple to food processor and blend.
Step 7: Add banana to food processor and blend.
Step 8: Add water and surge. Add more water if needed. The liquid should be very thin for best results.
(I find it easier to pour the liquid into a smaller measuring cup- it makes it easier to fill the molds.)
Step 10: Pour liquid into molds
Step 11: Freeze overnight
Step 12: Enjoy!

Step 10: Pour liquid into molds

Follow steps 1-7
Step 8: add ¼ cup of Greek yogurt
Step 9: Add about 6 ice cubes
Step 10: Blend until smooth
Step 11: Enjoy
Notes
Put your silicone molds on a cookie sheet for easy movement
Make sure you have a location in the freezer cleaned out and
that the cookie sheet will fit for sure.
Use a relatively lightweight easy to handle pourable cup
for pouring the liquid into the molds, because you are aiming for such a small
and thin area.
