This neat tool fixes incandescent light strands. Most strands stop working due to defective bulb shunts. The Light Keeper Pro sends a pulse through the strand and fixes the shunt. Then your lights work again. It has a bulb tester, fuse tester, and even some spare bulbs. This tool will save you hours of trying to find the bad bulb. It also allows you to fix what you have versus having to buy new. Best of all it is great for pre lit trees, after all you don’t want to have to get a new tree when a simple fix could get all the lights glowing again. Plus I know I don’t want to string lights on a pre lit tree, that defeats the purpose entirely!
This holiday must have saved me tossing out a snowflake tree topper that I love. I have had the topper for years, and this year it did not turn on when my son plugged it into the light strand. We then took it to the counter and plugged it into the Light Keeper Pro, I was happy to learn it still works. Then I was able to determine why it didn’t want to light up on the tree. Since not all lights are incandescent, there is a also a kit able to diagnose and repair LED light sets. This tool uses insulation piecing to connect to the copper wire in the light sets. Therefore it illuminates functioning sections by creating mini circuits. Then with process of elimination you can narrow down the defective bulb or fuse. There are clips to mark your unlit section and then you follow the directions to find the trouble. Now you can fix lights to save time and money this Christmas.
