My Thoughts

As the story goes, Happy struggled as a young bird. His wings were not made the same and flying was a real challenge for him. Just as with challenges our children face, the moral of staying strong and pushing through is taught. Happy learned to accept and overcome his challenges just as we want our children to do in their lives. It really is an uplifting and encouraging story.
Just as other seasonal visitors come to your home, Happy the Birthday Bird will visit around your child’s birthday each year. While visiting, make sure to take lots of pictures to place in the book to commemorate your child’s special day. Each year, you can add more photos and have treasured memories of past celebrations.
Special Birthday Memories
Our Allie loves to read the storybook before bed and “whispers” her birthday wishes to Happy before he leaves to fly home. It is the cutest thing to hear her whispering to him.
Our Laurel will be having her first birthday before long and while she doesn’t understand yet, we plan of creating a memory book packed with her birthday celebrations over the next few years.
