Using lacrosse-style stick launchers, the goal is to toss the ball back and forth. The large scoop makes it easy to catch the balls as they fly towards you. All ages can play this game with some modifications.

My Thoughts
I often wonder how parents with one child keep them busy. With a family of seven children, keeping the kids busy was never an issue. Now keeping them from declaring they were bored – was another story. We had a “Bored Jar” that if you found yourself with nothing to do and suggested to the parents that you were bored; there were jobs that could be completed in 15 minutes or less waiting. Said child would simply reach in the jar and pull out a job. They couldn’t do anything else until this job was completed and inspected by the parents. Hmm, funny how they rarely came back for another round of boredom buster jobs!
But, things were different if the kids told dad they were bored. He would create some activities like games or courses in the yard. His investment of a little time provided him with hours of happy and entertained kids.
Boredom Buster Toys
This Summer we have been enjoying several new boredom buster toys that have really helped Dad keep the kids busy. Honestly, I am no sure who has enjoyed the Birdie Golf more, Dad or the kids.
