Upcycled Ladies Shirt Decoupage Mason Jars
Supplies Needed:
Ladies shirt (we found ours at a local thrift store, but if yours is closed, dig into your closets!)
Wide mouth mason jar
Scissors and a ruler or a rotary cutter, a mat and ruler
Mod podge
Foam brush
Chopstick
How to make these cute Upcycled Ladies Shirt Decoupage Mason Jars:
Step 1: Cut your shirt into sections. We saved the sleeves, buttons, and collars for future projects 😊 Cut the shirts into strips that measure 7 inches long by 1” wide. We used 15-20 strips per jar.
Step 2: There are 2 ways you can attach the fabric strips to the inside of the jar. You can apply the mod podge to the fabric and apply to the inside of the jar or you can apply the mod podge to the jar and then smooth the fabric strip onto the jar. It is really a matter of what works best for you 😊
Step 3: Repeat process until the strips cover the inside of the jar. Seal with a coat of mod podge and allow to dry completely. Trim any excess fabric from the top of the jar.
