This monthly adventure subscription plan offer your family the opportunity to try foods from around the world. Plans are for a single month, four months and 12 months. Prices range from $21 to $25 per box. Each box is packed with almost everything you need to prepare a dish. You will need to add a few things from the grocery store but the majority of the items will be things you have on hand.
How does it work?
- First you choose your adventure. Will you explore a country, a continent or the world?
- Then add a few fresh ingredients using the shopping list included in the box.
- Finally kick off your edible educational and enjoy family time around a new recipe from a new country.
Our box had three (3) different countries represented. My little ones had a blast decorating Croatian Medenjaci and Austrian Lizer cookies. We are planning on making out Japanese mochi over the school break when the family is all together.
While our cookies didn’t quite turn out like the pictures (and really do they ever when little ones are helping), we did have a lot of fun. And we learned about different cultures. The prep time was a great way to talk about how different foods and traditions are found around the world.
