Mom’s Thoughts
Although we have a beautiful piano, nothing beats the convenience of this keyboard. My daughter takes piano lessons and has for 5 years. She practices everyday for at least 30 minutes. Most days music filling the house is wonderful, but when I have a massive headache or we have company it is not the best thing. On those days now she can still practice in her room, on the deck, or really wherever she wants to. She can lower the volume or use headphones, so only she hears her music. It also allows her the freedom to practice at any hour of the day. I can tell you that hearing the piano at 11 pm while we try to sleep would not be a happy moment. Now she can rock out with her music, and we are none the wiser.

My daughter likes the Dance Music Mode that lets her create and remix EDM tracks, She just selects a style and the keys trigger transitions, drum loops, basslines, effects, and more. There is also a library of 60 built in songs. She has a music rest for her song books, and there is a free Chordana Play iOS/Android app to help her learn how to play her favorite songs from downloaded MIDI files. The LCD screen and the “My Setup” button help her to easily get to her favorite sounds and settings.
Most noteworthy is the built in handle that makes carrying the portable Casiotone a breeze. She just put in 6 AA batteries, and now she can take it wherever she goes. No outlet is needed.
