My son just started kindergarten this past week and my daughter started 4k. My son has recently taken a strong interest in reading on his own and his school has started to guide him on the right track to start reading. In preschool, my daughter has been learning sight words and has been doing so well. I am so happy I discovered Reading Eggs for my children! I feel like I hit the jackpot with all of the amazing content and learning lessons that are available at our fingertips. My kids love playing on the app because they are just having fun and it doesn’t feel like there is pressure to learn. They are learning at their own pace and they aren’t overwhelmed with the information they’re retaining. My daughter loves the Reading Eggs Junior (ages 2-4) which builds pre-reading skills such as phonemic awareness and alphabet knowledge with fun activities, games, videos, and read-aloud books. My son loves the Reading Eggs (ages 3-7) because he can dive into learning to read. This one covers phonics, sight words, spelling, vocabulary, and comprehension. Overall, I am ecstatic about Reading Eggs and it has opened a new world for my kids. It’s our new favorite website/app!
