My Thoughts:
When you spend lots of time working on gaming projects for school, you need a great gaming headset. My son does spend a lot of time playing games with friends, but he also uses his “screen time” to chat with his friends about school projects. Everything is about working in teams- something we never did when I went to school. He even uses the iLive Gaming headset for chats with his instructors for the online courses he takes. (Another thing that wasn’t available when I went to school) Classes that aren’t offered at his high school, he can take online and complete at his own pace.
The iLive Gaming Headset is very comfortable. The fabric-type headband at the top makes it much more comfortable on the top of your head. The cushions on the earphones are thick and soft. They don’t squeeze your head like some headsets we have owned. The LED lights are a fun touch! Just remember, you have to plug the headset into a USB port to power the LED lights. The chat mic is flexible and the sound quality is great. The sound quality of the headset is much better than my son expected!
Overall, my son enjoys the iLive Gaming Headset and would recommend it to his friends. They are a great product at a great price!
