This screenbar lamp allows the freedom to work from anywhere, at anytime, and not have to worry about having a lamp. It really is a convenience designed for busy people. Providing light on your work surface prevents strain and frees up where you can work.
The Screenbar Lamp can be controlled with a touch of your finger or by using the Screenbar SmartLite App. The App has a built-in light sensor which can read environmental brightness and will automatically give you more or less light while reading. And the ScreenBar SmartLite app will automatically adjust the laptop’s screen brightness according to the ambient light, giving you the perfect light on your work surface.
My Thoughts
This screenbar lamp lite is a game changer for being able to move around while working. No longer am I tied to my desk where the lighting is better.
Now when I want to work from the park, airport or just resting in my recliner, I don’t have to strain my eyes to see the keyboard. The BenQ ScreenBar Lamp lite clips on the top of your monitor and plugs into the USB port.
Easy to Install
Once installed, the screenbar lamp shines just the right amount of light directly onto the keyboard. You can control the screenbar lamp with just a touch on the control buttons to adjust the lighting to your preference. Or you can download the ScreenBar Lamp Lite APP for additional settings including the ability to set up personalized settings of brightness and color temperature so you can instantly enjoy your favorite settings at anytime.
BenQ has knocked it out of the park with the screenbar lamp. Seriously, it is such a game changer that when I need to use it, I have to go get it back from the college daughter who likes to work late at night in the bed.
Personalized Settings
Some of the features include being able to adjust the light intensity and color. Depending on if you like the “cool” setting or a “warmer” setting. To my untrained eye, the difference is between a blue (cool) light or a yellow (warm) light on your work surface.
While you can easily control the screenbar lamp without installing the app, being able to set up your favorites is nice. The app will also react to the surrounding light and make adjustments to keep your lighting at the optional level.
This screenbar lamp will be one of the first things that gets packed in my laptop bag. I like that it comes in a sturdy protective case to store it in when not on my laptop. It’s also important to point out that it doesn’t block the camera. Although you might have to tilt it up a little depending on the angle of your laptop screen.
Oh, and remember to take it out of your bag as you do with your laptop when heading through TSA. Not that you can’t take it with you, but in order to speed the process of being cleared, it will help if you go ahead and take it out of your bag and place with your laptop in the tubs. Both times I went through TSA they pulled it out and asked me about it. Once I explained what it was and how it worked, they were curious where they could buy one!
Add to your packing list
