Here in the south the weather has been a little, well, confusing. We didn’t have much of a winter and most days were actually cool and sunny, which was nice! We did have a lot of rain which kept us inside a lot, but we tried to make the most of it. The last few days or so have been cool and sunny out and we’ve enjoyed being outside soaking in the sunshine and exploring. My kids really enjoy being outside and we like to take any activity that we can, outdoors. They let their imagination run wild and they burn all of their energy off. I am always looking for non screen things for them to do, where they can explore and play using their imagination.

This flamingo kite is bright, cute and so simple. Assembly was easy, attaching only 2 pieces from the package and it was ready to go! My daughter has such a blast flying her kite, she can’t believe how high it flies across the sky!

Shark Kite

My son was ecstatic the first time he flew his shark kite. He was thrilled to see how high he could get it to go in the sky. He kept letting the string loose and it was going higher and higher. Something as simple as a kite made him happy and really focused. Such a great outdoor activity!

Jumping rope was one of my favorite things to do as a kid! I hadn’t done it in so long but it’s been fun trying to teach my children and especially because its a great way to stay active! They love the shark and mermaid designs!

My Thoughts:

We have officially jumped into spring with all of our fun toys from Antsy Pants. We love the amazing products they come out with to keep everybody in the whole family active and having a great time. One thing my kids are so fascinated with are the jump ropes. They love watching my husband and I jump rope but they don’t quite grasp it yet. They absolutely love flying kites at the park! It was a thrill to see how much excitement flying the kites brought them! The stepping stones are a great way for them to set up little competitions with each other. The inflatable tires have been such a hit with my kids, such a simple yet great way for my kids to stay moving! Overall, my kids and I love how fun these simple jammed packed products are!
