Elastic Hand Enclosure: The first thing that gets cold is always your hands. Taking your hands out has never been easier with the hand enclosures. They are easy to slip off when you need to get to your fingers.
Cargo Pocket: Stash your phone or whatever you need handy. You can never have too many pockets!
Side Entry: This zipper access is a guy’s dream come true! You have access your pockets or fly so you don’t have to pull down the Selk’bag to pee!
Kangaroo Style-Pocket: Bring your hands to rest and stash anything you need handy. This is my favorite feature. It’s like those pockets in the front of a hoodie. You can keep your hands warm or keep anything you need in there.
Removable Booties: Zip-off booties reinforced with durable nylon so you can wear your own shoes when active, or the booties when sleeping. My son actually was barefoot when he modeled the Selk’bag. The booties kept his feet warm and cozy out on the snow!
Extra Ventilation: Leg vents help to regulate temperature for times when you get too warm. My hubby loves this feature. He heats up quickly so ventilation is a good thing!
Warm and Cozy: The insulated hood together with a weather-resistant DWR coating Polyester softshell keep you warm in any weather. The hood is nice and thick and keeps the warmth in!
The Selk’bag Original 6G is my favorite cold weather accessory! Not only does it keep you warm on those chilly nights when the power goes out, but it’s perfect for camping. You can even hike in it- it’s like a super warm onsie snowsuit! The zippers are well-placed – we love the new zippers for ventilation and easy access. It’s is easy to get on and off- just unzip and step in and zip up! We love the removable booties- my son likes to show off his sock collection and rarely wears shoes. They are so warm, you don’t even need to wear shoes with them!
We can’t wait for our annual camping trip to try it out! We usually try to camp before the end of August, but now that we have 2 Selk’bags, we can camp into the fall! I hate waking up shivering in the morning on our camping trips!
