My Thoughts:
Being the mom of seven, we have had our moments of someone being picked on or made fun of by a sibling. We have always stopped it immediately and then addressed how wrong it is to pick on someone else especially someone that can’t defend themselves or have no control over their limitations.
Too soon our children are exposed to mean words and actions. It breaks their heart and they often don’t understand why.
For our family, this is a faith based issue. We believe that people comes in all shapes, colors, and sizes. They are all precious and should be treated with respect. We may not all agree on how to do things, but we do not have to be cruel to others just to make ourselves feel better.
These new releases by Alphabet Rockers tackles several topics that children have to deal with in today’s world. Their belief is that by teaching our children that their words and actions impact others, a change can be made in this world. Our children after all, will be our leaders tomorrow.
