This time of year has to be my very favorite time of year. It’s a time that brings everyone together, like family and friends. I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and this year they are extra excited for the Christmas season! They’ve been singing Christmas songs and we’ve been talking about the reason for the season, the birth of Jesus. They have been super excited about all the things that come with Christmastime, like putting up Christmas decorations and drinking hot chocolate together! I love any chance I get to do extra fun activities with my family, but sometimes the weather might limit our agenda. So I was on a mission for something that gave a spin on the Christmas season.
Christmas Adventure Calendar is like an advent calendar but instead of traditional things like chocolate or a little message, there is an adventure for you and your family to do each day leading to Christmas! You get a stack of cards with adventures listed on them. You choose the ones you want, or pick random ones to put on each day of the month. I love the variety of adventures and it’s such a wide range of fun things to do, including random acts of kindness! My children and I can’t wait to see what the next day’s adventures will bring us! It’s also a fun surprise for me as well because my kids got to choose some adventures for the month.
