How to use the device:
1. Nothing opens your pores better than heat! Before using the device, clean your face with a hot towel or use a facial steamer for 5 minutes and keep your face wet .
2. Be sure to test it on your hand before your face. Then you will get used to the suction strength before using it on your face.
3. Move the device back and forth on your nose and T-zone. (Please don’t use it on the same place for longer than 2 seconds to prevent red and purple skin, and do not press it hard on your skin or pull it vertically.)
4. After completing the above steps, use cold water, a mask or cream to restore your skin. (A little red is normal at this stage, don’t worry, it will disappear after several minutes.)
My Thoughts:
One of the main things teens stress about is their skin. I remember how low my self- esteem was because my brothers would make fun of my acne. Luckily, my son’s acne hasn’t been anywhere near as bad as mine. It’s pretty well accepted among his friends that “everyone has acne” so no one makes a big deal about it. My son was actually excited to try the MiroPure Vacuum Suction Blackhead Remover! He has quite a few blackheads on his chin that are quite noticeable. We read the directions, warmed his skin up to open his pores and tried it out. We had tried out the suction levels on his hand first (and mine) so he knew what to expect. It was an adventure, using the Blackhead remover. He wanted to do it himself but then he ended up letting me do it since I could see what I was doing better than he could. At first, it didn’t seem to do anything, but we increased the suction and had success! It seems gross, but boy did it make him feel better to get rid of those chin blackheads!
Did you know you can use it for dead skin cleaning/exfoliation? Just use the Microdermabrasion probe (with the metallic looking tip), Clean and dry your skin. Use the device on the lowest suction mode. Touch your skin with the device and lift up lightly from your face.
You can also use the device to lessen wrinkles! Use the oval probe for this function. Use the lowest suction and drag the device from near your nose out to the sides. The instruction manual has pictures for this function that you should follow.
It’s easy to charge via a USB cable! It takes 8 hours to fully charge, but then you are good to go!
TIPS: Do not use the device on one area of the skin for more than 3 seconds. Use a warm towel to open your pores and keep your face wet so that the device can slide over your face. Choose the lowest suction setting to begin with until you get used to using it. They recommend using it for no more than 5 minutes per time, twice a week.
