Snowman Nutter Butter Treats

Fun and Easy Treats for those Holiday Parties!

Winter is almost here and one of our favorite winter icons are SNOWMEN!  I have quite a collection of Snowmen Christmas Decorations and I couldn’t resist making these cute treats!
The best part of these treats- no baking required- only a little microwaving to melt the White Candy Melts.  You could have the kids help, I’m sure they would be VERY creative if the little ones helped!

Ingredients:

Snowman Nutter Butter Treats

  • 10 Nutter Butter Cookies
  • 12 oz Wilton bright white candy melts
  • 20 small candy eyes
  • Regular size M&M candies
  • 10 orange mini M&M’s
  • 10 popsicle sticks
  • Wilton green, blue and red gel icing
  • Wilton black gel icing

Directions:

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pour the white candy melts into a microwave safe dish. Heat in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring occasionally until melted.
Gently pry apart all 10 Nutter Butter cookies.
Dip one end of a popsicle stick into the melted chocolate and place on an open Nutter Butter half and replace the top. Gently place the cookie
on the lined baking sheet and repeat with all 10 Nutter Butter cookies.

Place the baking sheet in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Reheat the white chocolate in the microwave.
Dip each Nutter Butter in the melted chocolate using a spoon to coat letting the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.

Place on the lined baking sheet.
Give each snowman 2 eyes, an orange mini M&M nose.
Snowman Nutter Butter Treats
Give the Snowman a mouth using the Wilton black gel icing.
Place 2 of the same color regular size M&M’s on the side of the snowman‘s head.

Let the chocolate set and then give each snowman a ‘headband’ using the Wilton red, blue and green icing.
