We run Camp Wags Pet Resort out of our home so cars and pups are always coming and going. Sometimes we have so many dogs coming and going in the same day, we don’t bring out the correct dog because we can’t see who gets out of the car. Now that we have Guardzilla, not only can we see the owner, we can tell them we will be right out with Fido!
We even use the two-way talk feature to thank the UPS or FedEx people for dropping off our packages. The first time we tried it, I whistled at the man in brown, he turned around and then I thanked him for delivering our packages and told him we had a new camera. We just said “You’re welcome”, waved and kept going. I’m sure they have seen and heard it all!

Place it Anywhere
Hang your unit on a wall, suspend it vertically from a ceiling/eave with the hanging magnetic mount, or place it on any flat surface with the camera stand. We chose to place ours on the side of the house so we could see the backyard, all of the driveway and most of the front yard. It gave us the best vantage point to see who was coming and going.
Easy Setup
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 to set up your Guardzilla. Plug in your Guardzilla. Then download the app to your smartphone (it works on iOs and Android). Last, connect the Guardzilla to your home wifi. It was so easy, my hubby did all this by himself- he’s not the best with apps, LOL.
360° Security and Live Video
Precision PIR motion sensors detect movement in 360 degrees, capture 360° video of the event, and instantly send alerts to your smartphone (push, email). As you can see in the snapshot, you get a 360 degree image as well!
Watch live 360° high definition video right from your smartphone. Swipe your finger on the phone screen (or move the phone in the direction you want to see) to see everything in the room.
Smart and Simple App
Protecting and monitoring our home’s exterior from our smartphones couldn’t be easier with Guardzilla’s simple, intuitive app. it works on his Droid and my iPhone. And if you want to use multiple Guardzilla products to protect your home, inside and out, don’t worry… managing multiple cameras from the app is a snap!
The app itself has all the functions on the main page. You can arm and disarm your motion sensors in the Status feature. To see the live feed, just tap the Monitor function. You can see live HD video, take images and communicate with anyone in the monitored area. The Event History section has All the motion events captured in 8-second video clips. These are retained for two days for free. Cloud storage options provide longer video retention options. Settings lets you choose your phone notification preference (email or push) when motion is detected, and much more. The Camera List lets you quickly connect to your other Guardzilla cameras, add new cameras, and share cameras with others. I was able to view our “Big Eye” camera when my hubby shared the camera with me. Go to the Extras area to take advantage of the enhanced security and video storage programs for even greater protection and peace of mind.
Weatherproof
It was really raining today and I’m glad I didn’t finish with all my pics. The camera works great and you can even see pretty well in this snapshot. It is built to withstand the harshest heat, cold and moisture conditions.
Two-Way Talk
Full duplex audio enables live 2-way conversations through the camera’s speaker and mic. This is one of my favorite features. When the dogs are out in the front yard or driveway with my son, I can call them and get them all confused. Plus, we love to chat with the UPS and other delivery drivers!

It was super easy to set up, works like a charm and even takes some damage and keeps working! Yes, my hubby dropped it on the driveway while he was installing it and it still works and barely has a scratch on it. So it’s versatile and durable, perfect for those handymen that aren’t as handy as they think they are. 🙂
I love that I will be able to watch my son walk to the bus stop in the morning while I’m at work. I can even tell him to have a good day and say embarrassing things and no one else will hear me. The biggest thing we love about it is being able to see who is in the driveway. It’s important for our business to be able to identify dogs and their owners so we know who’s coming and going. Our clients love the speaker and the personalized greeting.
Yesterday, I watched a family of turkeys walk down the end of the driveway to the front yard! You never know what’s out in the front yard!
Did you know it even has 360 degree night vision? Infrared sensors let you see clear video images at night and in dark, shaded areas. Perfect to see if anyone is lurking around the house- animals or people. We have had quite a few bear sightings, so I’m expecting one to come up our driveway soon!
