About Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse

The new kids menu at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar includes kids choice of a small salad or apple slices and caramel to start. For the main course choose from new kids menu items like a 6oz Filet Mignon, Lamb Chops, Shrimp Tempura or Macaroni with bacon, you can also add steak frites or steak & potato waffles.
Chef Menu and Local Features
Fleming’s chef table menu gives guests a one-of-a-kind experience tailored to local chef partners picks. Check out your local Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse to enjoy your local chef features. Fleming’s also features local promotions. My favorites out of the San Antonio location feature Tomahawk Tuesday three-course menu for two and Mondays at Flemings, a 3-course menu of buttery Filet Mignon and sweet Cold-Water Lobster.
My Thoughts
Taking my little foodies out to experience fine dining has to be one of my favorite experiences. Being a mom of four means I don’t get to have as much one-on-one time as I’d like with each of them. I have to make our one-on-one “dates” extra special. A fine dining experience is definitely one that will set the days apart and make your kiddo feel extra special. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse definitely sets itself apart from other fine dining restaurants. With a focus on making you feel like you are their top priority they definitely go above and beyond to cater to guests. We had a wonderful experience from the moment we stepped foot inside the restaurant. A beautifully soft-lit dining room, we sat tucked into a booth. If you are looking for the perfect drink, ask your waiter about the handmade lemonade, this was a deliciously sweet and tart blend, with a sugar rim. Perfect for kiddos who want an extra treat. You start your dining experience with a kid approved basket breads and butter. From a crunchy tostada style to rolls it’s the perfect start for hungry bellies. We moved on to a side salad and those perfect kid approved apple slices you can dip in caramel. For the main course, my picky eater was drawn to the macaroni and bacon. I was thoroughly surprised he didn’t go for the steak, but he loves bacon and was sold when our waitress told him there was bacon over top. He didn’t go wrong in his selection either. I found myself stealing bites from his plate, it was soo good. If you are like us and have to save room for dessert, you can’t go wrong with the Chocolate Lava Cake. Make sure to ask for a scoop Chantily cream, it is simply to die for! Kid approved Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse is the perfect family night out restaurant. My kid loved it s much he’s already looking for an excuse to go back.
